Duel in the Desert #1 In the Books

This past weekend the boys varsity team tried to avoid the weather by heading down to St. George to play in the annual Duel in the Desert team tournament. The tournament had some strong teams entered so it was fun to see how our talent would compare. The weekend was full of fun playing tennis, Fortnite, Ping Pong, putt putt golf, and Pickleball. We had to navigate through a rain delay on Friday but made it through playing under the lights until 7:30 pm. 

The boys played well enough to win their first three matches to get to the finals where they met a talented Lone Peak team. The Cavemen had some chances in a few of the matches but ended up losing to the Knights 0-5. Below are the match scores:
