This week is full of events so if you haven't discovered the Girls Tennis Calendar, look under the Girls section, Calendar to find out what's going on.
We rubbed off some of the rust from the past year while playing Herriman this past Wednesday. The gals played through the hot sun but the Mustangs prevailed 4-1 on Varsity and 3-2 against the JV. This week we've got 3 more matches, Tuesday vs. PG, Thursday vs. Bingham, and Friday vs. Skyridge. Take a look at the match schedule and bus departure schedule to see exact times. Tomorrow, Monday August 14th all Fall Sports are having their pictures taken at AFHS. The Girls Tennis team will have their pictures taken at 9:30 sharp, meaning that everyone should be there at 9:15 in their uniforms. If you don't have a uniform, wear something AF. Meet at the courts at 9:15 and we'll direct you from there. If you'd like to purchase individual pictures click the button below to download the picture packet. If purchasing pictures, bring it tomorrow with money to give to Lifetouch. Did someone say PARTY?!! This Wednesday after practice is finished there will be a Girls Tennis party hosted by the Menlove family. Head on over at 5:30 to Gabby Menlove's house at 10339 N. 6900 W., Highland, UT. and bring your favorite treat and swimsuit w/ towel. Swim, eat, play tennis & pickleball all while getting to know the gals who are playing tennis this year. Thanks in advance Menlove's!
