Week 4 Update

Uniform Update

Here's the update on the uniforms . . . to avoid the hassle and less confusion we're asking that if the girls don't want the grey tank that they exchange it on their own. You'll need Coach Jana's phone number, and a copy of the receipt (also get from Coach Jana). Tags have to be on it and even then it's not guaranteed they'll exchange it . . . it depends on who's behind the counter. If you wanna keep it, perfect.

The captains decided to go ahead and order the red tank as a third item (instead of the grey) so if you'd like one, please let coach Jana know by tomorrow so we can get you the discounted price. 

Duel in the Desert #1

We took 10 gals down the St. George this past weekend to play in the Duel in the Desert tournament with 14 other schools. Jocelyn, Sydney, Emilee, Abbie, Katie, Malia, Anna, Ashley, Erica, and Lindsey all played matches against other varsity teams and ended up with a 3-1 record, playing some excellent tennis along the way. Here's how they fared:

2-0 Start in Region Play

The team kicked off region play this last week by defeating both Westlake and PG. AF didn't lose a match vs. Westlake as both Varsity and JV swept them 5-0. Against a tough PG team, the gals took the "W" for both Varsity (3-2) and JV (4-1) as it came down to the wire. Congrats to the ladies for starting off so strong. 

This week doesn't get any easier . . . on Tuesday we take on Corner Canyon (@ CC) and on Thursday we take on LP (@ Skyridge). Tell your friends and family to come out to support!
