Operation "Banner Advertising"
The Caveman Tennis Teams have big plans to bring our program to the next level. With the addition of 8 new courts we've got many new needs and ideas that will help the community become engaged in tennis and provide our teams with the necessary resources to help them improve.
In order to fund these improvements the teams are offering their fence line along the western end as an advertising locale. For $500 a business will be provided with a 4' x 6' vinyl banner with their company logo on it that will be hung on the fence for an entire year. It's an extremely cheap way for businesses to advertise in a high foot-traffic area. This area is one of the main entrances to the school for students and visitors as they come for various school and sporting events.
To motivate players to find companies or individuals willing to advertise they will be rewarded with 25% of the advertising revenue (IRS says that the max for a school year is $600). With this money students won't receive cash but rather credit towards purchasing tennis clothing, gear, or help them with their participation fees. An example would be that a player finds to companies to advertise and brings in $1,000. They would then be entitled for receive $250 which they could purchase a new racket, shoes, or other gear.
