Team Info
Anyone who wants to play tennis at American Fork High School will be able to. We have 8 courts and are planning on continually making improvements that will make them some of the nicest in the state.
Last year (2017-18) we had about 60 guys/gals who played on their respective teams and participated in practice, matches, and tournaments. The way to accommodate all these players is by breaking up our teams into three groups: Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Practice Players. Varsity and JV teams practice daily from 2:30 - 4:30 pm while Practice Players go from 4:00 - 5:00 pm.
Usually the top 21-24 players attend the Varsity/JV practice while the rest come to the PP practice. This allows us to focus on specifics that will help each group become better players while giving more direct attention to those in need.

At practice we'll focus on stroke technique, strategy, conditioning, and mental strength. Expect to play matches daily as we will have a ladder that will rank the players according to their skill.
Practice will also consist of practice matches. We will have a running ladder for doubles and singles which will allow most players to play a match daily.
